Stress from Flood and Storms (PSA Radio Script)

(Time: 30)

From wet basements to lost crops, this year's floods and severe storms are causing extraordinary stress for many Iowans.

Iowa State University Extension reminds you to be aware of the signs of stress. Increased irritability, sleeplessness, or anxiety mean you could be under extreme stress. If so, let your friends or family members know how you're feeling. Their support can help you deal with the stress.

For more information, contact your local Extension office. This message comes to you from Iowa State University Extension's SAFE FARM program, to make Iowa farms a safe place to work and live.
