Abstract
The author stresses that it is important for agricultural safety and health workers to have a broad understanding of the community they serve, from field workers to large-scale producers. He also discusses the importance for safety and health workers of engaging and using the resources provided by professional associations such as the National Institute for Farm Safety. [--Editor]
