AUTHOR ABSTRACT
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) monitors work-related deaths in the United States. The NIOSH system shows agriculture to a high-risk industry for occupational mortality. Information on risk by geographic region, race, age, and major cause of death are presented for the agriculture industry.
