Northeast Center for Occupational Health and Safety in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing (NEC)

The Northeast Center for Occupational Health and Safety in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing (NEC) serves a thirteen-state region from Maine to Virginia. It conducts occupational health and safety research, provides safety trainings and offers occupational health screenings and services to workers in the agriculture, forestry and fishing (AFF) industries. These efforts are undertaken in partnership with other NIOSH centers, state and federal agencies, land grant universities, medical centers and AFF advocacy groups. The NEC offices are located along with the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) in Cooperstown, NY.
