Feeder Safety (Dairy Safety Training Part II, Section 3)


This video is created specifically for "feeders" on dairy farms. General safety tips are provided for driving tractors and using power take-offs (PTOs). Specific guidance is provided for the silage pile including: making safe slopes, filling the silage pile to a safe level, trimming the silage pile with the tractor, and best practices for uncovering silage for the quality of the silage and the safety of the workers.
