"TRACTOR SAFETY: Highway Safety (part 2)", the next program in the series, addresses the life-threatening problems faced by tractor operators who use public roads and highways. According to the National Safety Council, approximately one-third of all fatal tractor accidents, occur on public roads. This program features interviews with California Highway Patrol officers who are experts in agricultural highway safety. In addition information is presented on how to prepare your tractor and equipment for use on public roads, special day and night driving techniques, and basic towing methods.
