AgSafe (California)

AgSafe, Coalition for Health and Safety in Agriculture

AgSafe is a coalition of groups and organizations dedicated to the reduction of injuries, illness, and fatalities in California agriculture. AgSafe is based on the need for improved communication and cooperation and seeks participation from the diverse interests involved in agricultural health and safety:

  • Farmers and ranchers
  • Agricultural workers
  • Education and local government
  • Community organizations
  • Agri-business and manufacturers
  • Medical and health services
  • Public service and regulatory agencies
  • Insurers
  • Media and information

Established in 1990, AgSafe is incorporated as a non-profit, educational corporation. AgSafe works to identify common ground concerns and priorities among differing interests and to facilitate collaborative efforts to improve health and safety in California Agriculture.
